File will be re-downloaded to the destination Agent, because their modification timestamp has a future date
This error message was added in Resilio Connect
3.7.0.
It appears on Distribution and Consolidation job runs. It does not indicate
that files didn't sync. On the contrary, it signals that excessive data
transfer might be happening. Usually it happens if a cloud storage is a
destination.
The reason for this error message is that on source Agent the mentioned files
have the modification timestamp in future compared to the current time.
Resilio Agent relies on files' timestamp and size when determining if the file
needs to be synced or not (read more about it here). If the
file system on destination Agent does not support the 'future' timestamp, the
transferred file will always have the current timestamp. Therefore, the file
on the source will always be considered newer and will be synced again on next
job run, even though the files themselves might match.
Possible solutions:
1. Advisable. Check the mentioned files on source Agent and fix the
timestamp.
2. Check the file storage on destination Agent and see if it's possible to
allow setting 'future' timestamp on files.
