File streaming troubleshooting

With progressive hydration implemented in Resilio AE 4.2.0, you may encounter the following issues or unexpected behavior.

Files take too long to open, file is fully hydrated
Possible cause: Full hydration is enabled
Solution: Switch to progressive hydration (1)

Possible cause: a third-party process fetches the full content of file. It's known to be valid for security software, some file browsers, etc.
Solution: add Resilio Agent or the job folder to the app's exclusion list.

Read errors on large files, Insufficient system resources
Possible cause: Validation enabled on SMB
Solution: Disable system_native_placeholders_validation_required

ERROR_OFFSET_ALIGNMENT_VIOLATION
Possible cause: Non-8-byte-aligned read
Solution: Enable system_native_placeholders_validation_required

Files are not updating correctly
Possible cause: Conflicting sync settings
Solution: Check for file changes on remote peers
