Apply license and assign license packages to Agents
Apply product license
Once you start Resilio Management Console, it requests license to be installed. Once you've received your license file, just save it to your disk, click Upload a new license and choose the license file in the file picker dialog.
The license contains Agent packages (types) with different features included. Packages need to be assigned to Agents manually. If there's only one Agent package (type), no manual assignment needs to be done, since this one Agent package will become the default type and automatically be assigned to any new Agent that gets added (see below).
Only Super Administrator users can upload a new license, and any user with full access to agents can change license packages for agents.
The License Package with the most seats, is considered to be the 'default package' and is automatically assigned to all Agents, prioritized by alphabet. Admin can manually set a different package as default. If the package runs out of seats, other Agents remain "unlicensed" and the Administrator needs to assign a new license package manually.
The Administrator can change the package that has been assigned automatically.
For newly connected Agents, the license package shall be assigned when approving pending Agent connections.
If the Agent connects with an agent configuration, the default license package is applied. Same as above, if the default package does not have enough seats, the Agents will connect as 'unlicensed' and the Admin needs to manually assign a license package to it.
At any time admin can change the assigned package for an Agent. This can be done from the AGENTS tab, or through Management Console settings -> Licensing.
Starting with Resilio Connect 3.8.0 expiration for some features (Console API and Proxy) or license packages was introduced. Expiration date is available on License administration.
Tip
For the missing features, click Request demo, trial or quote to send request for the given feature.
Management Console warns about trial period or the subscription license is about to expire: 45 days before expiration as a warning, 10 days before expiration as a warning in red.

Legacy licensing
Management Consoles prior to 2.9.1 cannot apply the new license key and will continue to use their legacy License. Management Console's 2.9.1 and above, can continue to use their legacy license. The only new 2.9 Features that require the new License Key Type are the new Zero Gravity Transport Protocol and the use of Object Storage.
Agents v 2.8.x can have a new license package assigned, but they won't be able to use any of the new features.
