Create profiles

Job profile

Job profiles are job-specific settings applied to Agents participating in the Job. You can create a global Job Profile that you can assign to multiple jobs, or create a unique profile that only applies to the given Job.

To create a Job Profile:

1. Proceed depending on the Job Profile type you want to create:

   • Global Job Profile
     Select Profiles, and in the Job's Profiles section, click + CREATE NEW PROFILE
     

     or in the Job creation wizard, on the PROFILE tab, select Add new profile.
     

   • Job-specific Job Profile
     In the Job creation wizard, on the PROFILE tab, select Unique for this job.
     

2. (Applicable to global profiles) Enter the name and an optional description.

3. In the profile editor, select parameters that you want to customize and specify their value.

   Info

   • Parameters that remain unchecked inherit their values from the default profile. A change in the parameter's value in the default profile will propagate to all custom profiles where the parameter in question has been inherited.
   • Customized parameters can be edited at any time, and changes will apply only to the current profile.

   Tip: Profile presets

   Use presets to add a pre-configured set of parameters with values optimized for a specific use case. For more information on available presets, see Profile presets.

   

4. (Optional) Click + ADD CUSTOM PARAMETER to add a custom parameter.

5. Click Save.

   

Agent profile

An Agent profile is a set of settings assigned to an Agent or a group of Agents through groups tab. If no profile is selected, the default profile is applied. You can assign a number of Agents to a Job, with each having a dedicated Agent Profile.

To create an Agent Profile:

1. Select Profiles, and in the Agent's Profiles section, click + CREATE NEW PROFILE.
   

2. Enter the name and an optional description.

3. In the profile editor, select parameters that you want to customize and specify their value.

   Info
