Restarting agents from Management Console
Resilio Connect version 2.7.0 supports remote restart of Agents from Management Console. This restart only applied to the agent service that runs on the host, it does not reboot the host machine itself.
It's supported for Linux (including NASes), OS X and Windows agents, as well
as Android.
Windows Agent service shall be running as Local System or Admin. Account Local
Service does not have permissions to handle services and thus cannot restart
the Agent.
To restart agent go to Agent details -> Configuration tab. After clicking "Restart", Agent received graceful restart signal, startups after that and reconnects to MC.
If the Agent was not able to shut down within 1.5 minutes, MC shows timeout error. You might want to try again later or shut down agent manually on the computer.
Management Console is not in control of agent's startup. Console cannot remotely start the Agent.
For Agents of version older than 2.7.0 the button is not available at all.
For offline Agents the restart button is grayed out and is inactive.
