Dashboard - performance monitor
Resilio Active Everywhere offers three dashboards for monitoring Agent's performance:
Overview dashboard
General statistics
Statistical information on the Resilio transferred data for all Agents combined.
- All time transferred - The total volume of data transferred since the Management Console has been deployed.
- Last 24 hours transferred - The total volume of data transferred in the last 24 hours.
- All time traffic optimization - The volume of the data transfer savings accomplished with the data differential sync since the Mangement Console has been deployed.
-
Last 24 hours traffic optimization - The volume of the data transfer savings accomplished with the data differential sync in the last 24 hours.
Note
- For fresh deployments, the All time transferred information will be available after performing initial file transfers, and during the first day it may differ from the values reported for the last 24 hours.
- Agents carry over their statistics when they connect to a new Management Console.
- Last 24 hours statistics are updated every 5 minutes.
- Calculations for the bytes transferred are updated every 5 minutes.
Agents
- Completed - The number of Agents in active Job Runs in
successfully finishedorsyncedstate. - In progress - The number of Agents that are currently performing their file transfer assignments.
-
Total Agents - The total number of Agents connected to the Management Console.
Note
The counter includes licensed and unlicensed, as well as online and offline Agents. Agents that are pending approval aren't taken into account. Offline Agents are counted as agents with error.
-
With errors - The number of Agents reporting errors and offline Agents.
Jobs
- Completed - The number of Job Runs in the
Completed/Idlestate. - Running - The number of active Job Runs (excluding idle synchronization Jobs).
- Total jobs - Total number of Jobs.
- Last 24 hours - Number of succeeded (with the Completed or Idle status) and failed (with the Aborted or Timeout status) Jobs.
Job Summary
Contains Job runs history. It accumulates the data per Job, per selected time period (10 minutes, hour, day, week or month). Last column shows the sum of data transferred. The information is updated in real time.
Transfer speed, Bytes transferred, Files transferred, Network disconnects graphs
- Graphs are updated every 5 seconds for 10 minutes/hour time interval, every 5 minutes for day time period and every hour for week time period.
- Maximum transfer speed may change and be different after changing a time range on the graph as the speed is recalculated to match the selected range.
- Bytes transferred graph retains the information about data transferred in a Job run, even if that Job run has been deleted, but had been performed within the selected time period.
Job Run dashboard
Overview
The Job run overview provides insight into the job's status and its performance. gives overall understanding of how it performs.
To access a Job run overview, select Jobs, then locate and click the Job run you're interested in viewing.
General info
- Status - Current Job run's status.
- Duration - Job run's duration.
- Job profile - The Job profile assigned to the Job.
-
Transfer ETA - Transfer completion estimate based on the lowest performing Agent in the Job.
Note
The Management Console will report
Unknownif the Job is in the Idle state and there are no files being transferred at the moment, or if the Job has been completed. -
Total Agents/Servers - The total number of Agent or server endpoints participating in the Job.
- Offline Agents/Servers - Agent or server endpoints participating in the Job that are offline.
-
Agents with errors - The split between Agents that are reporting errors and those that do not.
Note
If an error has been ignored, the Agent won't be considered as one reporting an error.
Statistics
- Total bytes in the job - The total volume of data.
- Total files in the job - The total number of files.
-
Total bytes to transfer - The remaining volume of data to transfer.
Note
This is the total volume of data to be transferred to Agents participating in the Job.
-
Total files to transfer - The remaining number of files to transfer.
Note
This is the total number of files to be transferred to Agents participating in the Job.
-
Max speed - Maximum transfer speed.
-
Current speed - Current transfer speed.
Note
- The speed metric also includes the service data transfers, thus the Management Console can report a value despite there's no user data being transferred.
- The Files per second metric is provided to help evaluate the progress of the data transfer. Fractions are expected here, and if a single big file is being transferred at the moment, less than 1 file/sec will be reported.
-
Traffic optimization - The volume of data saved by data compression and local family copies relatively total data transferred over the network. To implement traffic optimization, you must enable differential sync (set the Disable differential sync parameter in the Agent profile to No) and Allow to copy local files in the Agent profile.
Agents statues
The number of Agents reporting each status.
Agent errors
The number of Agents reporting errors that prevent the job from starting or completing. For list of error statuses, see Statuses - Agent in a Job run
Statistics
The Statistics tab contains the Transfer speed by bits, Bytes transferred, Files transferred and Network disconnects graphs.
The graphs are updated every 5 seconds for 10 minutes/hour time interval, every 5 minutes for day time period and every hour for week time period. All time interval update frequency depends on the total duration of the job run. The list of available time interval options depend on the Job run duration. For example, if a Synchronization Job or Distribution Job run’s duration is 17 hours, 10 minutes, hour and All options will be available. However, if a Distribution job run took less than 10 minutes to run, only the All option will be available.
Agent details dashboard
To access Agent's details dashboard:
- In Jobs, locate and click a Job run you want to analyze.
- Select Agents, then locate and click an Agent whose performance you want to review.
Overview
The Overview dashboard shows Agent's performance along with Agents configuration details as well as select metrics specific for this particular job run.
Note
Data on the Overview tab is updated every 5 minutes.
Summary
The Summary section shows summary of the Agents performance in the Job run.
Info
The Info section contains Agent configuration information along select Job statistics.
Transfer
-
Bytes and files to receive - Shows remaining data in the transfer queue (all files in a job, or selected files in a TSS folder).
-
ETA - Estimated completion time, based on the remaining data and the Agent’s transfer speed. It is expected that ETA for synchronization Jobs is ‘unknown’ if the job is in status Idle and no files are transferred at the moment.
Speed
- Maximum speed - Maximum transfer speed achieved in the course of the Job run.
-
Current speed - Current transfer speed.
-
Hashing/Scanning - File hashing or scanning performance.
Note
Files cannot be transferred faster than the Agent reads them from the storage device. Fraction values and
less than 1 file/secreported speeds are expected. -
Traffic optimization - Network traffic saved by enabling local file copies and data compression.
Machine statistics
The Machine statistics section contains select system-level information on the Agent endpoint.
Note
It's expected to see false positive high percentage of disk usage (up to 2000%) if the Agent syncs with a cloud storage in this job due to some specifics of retrieving this information from the cloud storage.
Activity
- Total - The total number of files in the Job run.
- Local on the Agent - The number of files on the Agent's local storage.
- Current sync queue - The number of files remaining in the transfer queue.
- ETA - Estimated completion time, based on the remaining data and the Agent’s transfer speed.
- Errors - The number of reported errors in the course of the Job run.
Connections
The Connections tab shows currently established best tunnels as per connectivity matrix.
